I was in downtown Phoenix and began photographing up into the canopy of palm trees. Dark, dark, dark. I began playing around with them in the computer, until they became light and bright and saturated and they transmogrified from palm trees into dandelions from an alien planet. They are the epitome of seeing the unseen.
